In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight is a short documentary that sheds light on the long history of Asian American discrimination and violence while examining its exponential increase during the COVID-19 pandemic. The documentary was made entirely through remote production and contains interviews with Benny Luo, Founder and CEO of NextShark, Ryan Nguyen, Co-Founder of StopAsianHateBoston, and Julia Lee, Associate Professor of Asian American Studies at UC Irvine.




Jonathan Chan is a 3rd Chinese American filmmaker currently studying Film and TV Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
